TWO TEENAGERS COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER THEY WERE ASKED TO QUIT PUBG

PUNJAB POLICE WANTS PUBG TO BE BANNED

Two teenagers committed suicide in Lahore because of the online popular game Players Unknown Battlegrounds PUBG. This incident has shaken the Punjab police and now they want this game to be banned immediately. The DIG of Lahore police Ashfaq Khan has decided to write a complaint letter to the FIA (federal investigation agency) as well as PTA (Pakistan telecommunication authority), since many such cases has been reportedly registered regarding this game.

PUBG is a well-known game and it has been popular around the globe since being launched in 2017. It is a game of survival in which players from all around the world are dropped off from the plane onto an island where they must eliminate each other to survive till the end. It was developed by a South Korean company and has earned popularity and followers, and now it has reached 200 million of downloads across the world.

The case of the suicide of both teenagers have been registered and police is looking into this matter. Whereas, last month Lahore High Court had ordered the authorities concerned to ban PUBG after observing its bad effect on the children.
