Bernie Sanders sought the Democratic Party’s 2020 nomination for president and even though that didn’t go as planned, he supported Joe Biden and attended his inauguration.
Unlike most people, Sanders decided to get simply dressed for the ceremony and wear layers as it’s cold around this time in Washington.
His outfit and a photograph of him sitting on a chair have gone viral and have become a meme.
