Pakistan is reminiscing the historic win against India in the final match of Champions Trophy in 2017. Pakistan cricket team defeated India to win its first Champions Trophy three years back.

The players are now recalling and celebrating their significant win against arch-rivals India at The Oval stadium in the UK. Former Pakistani skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed who led the team to victory posted a small clip of Pakistan cricket team lifting the Champions Trophy after defeating India. He enjoyed the moments with other team players in the post-match ceremony. Sarfaraz Ahmed also posted a video of his son Abdullah recalling the final match of Champions Trophy.

Meanwhile, Hassan Ali posted his pictures of receiving the awards from the legendary former Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting and Indian cricketer Saurav Ganguly.

Pakistani cricket fans and social media users posted small videos of exciting moments from the match. It was the most unpredictable win of the Pakistani team against the opponent Indian team.

The 2017 ICC Champions Trophy was the eighth ICC Champions Trophy. Top eight cricketing teams participate in the tournament. The ICC Champions Trophy held in England and Wales from 1 to 18 June 2017. Pakistan won the Champions Trophy for the first time with a 180-run victory over India in the final at The Oval. The margin of victory was the largest by any team in the final of an ICC ODI tournament in terms of runs.

India has a better record in ICC tournaments. However, Pakistan is yet to win a match in either the World Cup or T20 World Cup in meetings between the two sides. In the Champions Trophy, however, Pakistan has won three of the five meetings against India, including the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy Final.
