Pakistani foreign minister tested positive for COVID-19

On Friday, Pakistani foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19.  Recently he met PM Imran khan in a cabinet meeting as well as in parliament. Number of prominent people hit by the disease is expanding from celebrities as well as the general public in numbers. Nevertheless, there are so many people still struggling to obey the necessary SOPs.

Hence the need to place a strict curfew is now needed more than ever, it will be enforced once again to save lives. The desperate situation in which we are living in, and still in an early phase but unsure what to do and how to respond. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has brought the shocking news to the public by using his twitter account. Sadly, he has fallen ill too. He was tested after being in a constant fever, into which his test reveals that he is also COVID-19 positive.

Still Pakistan has reported 221,896 coronavirus cases, with 4,451 deaths. The country has continued to see about 4,000 new cases every day, amid dropping daily test numbers Pakistan is still suffering from it.

We can only expect that government is sure about how to cope with the circumstance. We pray that Pakistan’s government will be able to get rid of the problems and tackle the financial, political and health crisis that it is currently facing and will get rid of this fatal disease soon and will be back on track.
