Missing senior Geo News reporter Ali Imran Syed returns home safely on Saturday evening

Senior Geo News 40 years old reporter Ali Imran Syed, who has been missing has returned to his mother’s home located in Karachi on Saturday Evening. Ali Imran Syed went missing mysteriously after reporting on recent arrest made of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law.

According to the local media reports reporter Ali went out on Friday evening saying to the family that he would be back in half an hour but didn’t came back. But on Saturday evening  Ali Imran Syed reportedly got in contact with his wife over the phone upon reaching his mother’s house in Karachi’s area. He apparently informed his family that he had safely returned and hasn’t been physically hurt.

Ali Imran Syed announced the discovery of video footage showing Rangers assisting police during last week’s detention of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law, Muhammad Safdar Awan at a Karachi, the day before Ali Imran Syed’s vanishing. Muhammad Safdar Awan was released later whereas, authorities have never confirmed why Muhammad Safdar Awan was taken into the custody.
