The Last solar eclipse of the following year will be observed on December 14, 2020. When the Moon crosses between Earth and the Sun, a solar eclipse occurs, thus completely or partially concealing the image of the Sun for an observer on Earth.
However, it will not be visible to Pakistanis. It will be observed mostly in South African and South American countries. Whereas, in the Atlantic and Indian Oceans and also the South Pole, the eclipse will also be viewable.
Earlier, the world witnessed an annular solar eclipse in June 21, 2020 which was also visible in some cities of our country including Lahore, Islamabad as well as Karachi. Pakistan Metrological Department on Friday said that the last solar eclipse of 2020 will not be visible in Pakistan.
