Throughout the year, 343 Industries has been releasing the Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC. This is a process that has happened game-by-game, beginning with Halo: Reach back in December and then working through the original Halo games beginning with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. Most recently, we saw Halo 3: ODST join the Master Chief Collection lineup, which means that Halo 4 is the final game to be added to the compilation before the MCC is complete on PC.

“Halo 4 is arriving on PC as the final title to join the Halo: The Master Chief Collection on November 17. Now optimized for PC, experience the fully remastered campaign to embark against new foes, dust off some orbital drops in Spartan Ops, or dive right back into the multiplayer,” 343 Industries revealed.

This is, of course, fantastic news for all Halo fans and PC owners who will get to experience this iconic shooter from 2012.

Halo 4 will be optimized for PC, with the game including a “fully premastered campaign,” according to Microsoft. Halo 4 originally came out on November 6th, 2012 as an Xbox 360 exclusive. It is the fourth entry in the mainline Halo games and the seventh overall in the franchise, it was also the first original Halo game developed by 343 Industries, following Bungie’s split from Microsoft in 2007.
